Draft - pending legal review. This document describes how ResumeRama actually works today and is written to be accurate, but it has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer. It is not legal advice. We publish it in this state so you can read our real practices now rather than wait.

ResumeRama produces a draft. Read it before you send it anywhere.

AI output can be wrong

Language models write fluently, which makes their mistakes hard to spot. Output can contain errors, omissions, invented detail, or phrasing that overstates what you actually did. A confident sentence is not a verified one. Read every line of your tailored resume and cover letter and edit it before it goes to an employer.

You are responsible for what you send

The final document is yours. You are responsible for the accuracy and honesty of everything in it, including anything the AI suggested. Submitting a resume that misstates your experience can cost you an offer or a job, and that consequence is not something we can carry for you.

Match scores are estimates

Our ATS and keyword-match scores are our own estimate of how well your resume lines up with a job description. Employers use many different systems, configured in ways we cannot see. A high score is not a guarantee that any particular system will parse or rank your resume well, and a low score does not mean you should not apply.

No promise of outcomes

We make no promise about interviews, offers or employment. No tool can. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.

Not professional advice

ResumeRama is a writing tool, not a career counsellor, recruiter, immigration adviser or lawyer. Nothing it produces is professional advice - including anything touching work authorisation or eligibility, which you should confirm with a qualified adviser.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it is always available or error-free. See the Terms of Use for the full position, and the AI Policy for how the AI part works.
