Site Usage Policy
Last updated September 10, 2026 · Version 2
ResumeRama is for your own job applications. Use it lawfully and for that purpose - tailoring your resume, writing your cover letters, and tracking the roles you apply to.
Please do not
- Use the service on someone else’s behalf without their knowledge and agreement
- Submit content you have no right to use, including someone else’s confidential material
- Misrepresent who you are, or generate credentials, employers or qualifications that are not real
- Upload another person’s personal information beyond what belongs on your own resume
- Use the service to produce unlawful, harassing, discriminatory or deceptive content
Do not attack or overload the service
That includes:
- Automated or bulk requests beyond normal personal use
- Attempts to bypass rate limits, quotas or entitlement checks
- Scraping, reverse engineering, or probing for vulnerabilities
- Attempting to reach other users’ data
- Anything that degrades the service for other people
We apply per-minute and per-day limits to keep the service available and affordable for everyone. Treat them as the fair-use boundary rather than an obstacle.
Prompt content
Do not use special instructions or resume fields to try to manipulate the AI into ignoring these rules, revealing system prompts, or producing content it would otherwise decline. Requests like that may be blocked and repeated attempts may end your access.
Security research
We welcome good-faith reports. If you think you have found a vulnerability, tell us before you go looking further, and do not access other people’s data while investigating. Report through the in-app feedback form and we will respond.
Enforcement
We may suspend or remove access that breaks these rules, and in serious cases do so without notice. Where it is reasonable we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to put it right. If you think something you need to do might cross a line, ask us first - we would rather talk it through than cut you off.
