Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 10, 2026 · Version 1
Job searching is stressful enough. ResumeRama should not add barriers to it.
The standard we target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and by accessibility law in the EU, the UK and elsewhere.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with real headings, landmarks and labelled form fields
- Keyboard navigation through the core flows, with visible focus styles
- Light and dark themes, each chosen for text contrast, with the theme respected from your system setting
- Layouts that work down to a 375-pixel-wide phone screen without horizontal scrolling
- A cookie banner that reserves its own space rather than covering the content beneath it
- Text that reflows on zoom rather than being fixed to a pixel width
Known gaps
Being specific is more useful than reassuring:
- No formal WCAG audit has been carried out, and no automated accessibility check runs in our build yet
- We have not tested comprehensively with screen readers across browsers and platforms
- The resume editor is a dense interface and has not been fully verified for keyboard and screen-reader use
- Generated PDF and DOCX documents have not been checked for accessibility tagging
- Some long legal and report tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens
Tell us about a barrier
If something here stops you using ResumeRama, please tell us through the in-app feedback form or at TODO: confirm - accessibility@resumerama.com. Describe what you were trying to do, the page, and the assistive technology and browser if you use them.
We aim to acknowledge within five business days and to give you a realistic timeline rather than a placeholder. If a fix will take a while, we will try to offer another way to get the same thing done in the meantime - including doing it for you.
Alternative formats
If you need any of our policies or your own data in an accessible format, ask and we will provide it at no cost.
