Here is every cookie we set. It is a short list, because we do not run analytics or advertising.

Essential cookies
These run the site: they sign you in, remember which policies you have accepted, and keep your session secure. The service cannot work without them, so accepting the Cookie Policy is an acknowledgement that they are in use rather than a choice to opt in. Blocking them in your browser will sign you out and break the app.
Analytics and advertising
Our consent banner offers analytics and advertising as separate, opt-in categories. Both default to off, with no pre-ticked boxes.
We have registered the site with Google AdSense for ownership verification. That is a verification step only: no advertising script runs and no advertising cookie is set. If that changes we will update this page, tell you before it happens, and load anything of the kind only after you consent. See the Ads Policy.
Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choices at any time from the cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and declining non-essential cookies costs you nothing - the free service works exactly the same. Your choice is recorded both in a cookie on your device and as a consent record in our database, which is the authoritative proof of what you chose.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Under EU, UK and Quebec rules we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie, and we do not set one while the banner is still waiting for an answer.
